Answer:

To remove the drain pan from a model 601, see Sub-Zero Drain Pan Removal for 201, 501, and 601 Models.

Drain pan removal instructions vary depending on serial number. See also, Sub-Zero Serial Tag Locations.

Starting with Serial Number 1810000

1. Remove the kickplate by removing two screws at the bottom left and right corners and pulling forward.
2. Push in on the front of drain pan and up slightly, then pull forward to remove. The drain pan is near the center of the unit.
3. To install, slide the rear of the pan back into place then push up on the front tab until it engages in the kickplate support.

Prior to Serial Number 1810000

4. Remove the kickplate by removing two screws at the bottom left and right corners and pulling forward.
5. Push the front of the drain pan back and down.
6. Pull the drain pan forward.
7. To install, the tapered end of the drain pan must be inserted on top of the drain pan holder at rear.
  • Tapered ends with cut corners are placed toward the rear of the unit on the wire support bracket. The square end of the drain pan is the front.
8. Push the front of the drain pan up until the top front flange engages the tab in the kickplate support.​
